Oklahoma City/////  Irving L. Faught, Administrator of the Oklahoma Department of Securities, has entered a cease and desist order against a Nevada limited liability company offering an on-line investment program in and/or from Oklahoma. The order against Quadra Pay Land, LLC, alleges the company offers securities in the nature of options for a purported undivided interest in a square foot of land. The particular real estate that is the subject of each option is not described.

Investors are solicited to pay Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for the purchase of an option and are promised a return of Two Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($2,400.00) at maturity. No other efforts by the investors are required.

Quadra Pay represents that the options can mature in days or even hours based on the company’s on-line “Accelerated Value Appreciation” system. The options purportedly move through a four-stage chart depicted on a website. Investors are told they will receive their 400% return upon reaching Stage 4, at which time Quadra Pay will repurchase the options.

The options offered and sold by Quadra Pay Land, LLC are not registered as securities under Oklahoma law. Quadra Pay Land, LLC associated with unregistered persons to offer and sell the securities on its behalf in Oklahoma, in violation of state securities statutes.

“The Department received a report from the public that this scheme is being promoted in the Medford, Oklahoma area,” Faught said. “Pyramid schemes are illegal, so don't give in to pressure when family or friends ask you to join,” Faught added.
